Greening Greater Greenfield’s annual Oktoberfest will begin at 5:00 pm, Saturday, September 24 on South Washington Street near the courthouse building. A variety of events and entertainment will again be a major part of the gathering. The events and their times are as follows:
G3’s ANNUAL FALL COMMUNITY-WIDE YARD SALE
FRIDAY & SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9-10, 2016, 9 AM – 5 PM
G3 is creating an online map, as before, for those wishing to list their yard sales for the Fall Community-Wide Yard Sale. To get on the map send us your:
1. Complete address
2. A brief description of what you’ll be selling
3. Any changes in the advertised dates and times

John Baal was an early member and constant supporter of Greening Greater Greenfield.
Greening Greater Greenfield (G3) will host its 5th Annual Greenfield Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 26th. Like always the festivities will begin at 5:00 pm but this year the location will be moved closer to the village center and occupy the first block of So. Washington Street.
The John Baal Biergarten, under the direction of the St. Benignus Knights of Columbus, will open with the ceremonial and traditional “Breaking of the Pretzel” at 6:00 pm.
Music this year will be provided by the Oom-pah-sters German Band all the way from Tennessee and a wide variety of German foods will once again be served up by the Greenfield Lions Club.
Lots of thought has been put into making Oktoberfest a festival for all ages. Besides bier, food, and music, activities will include:

Just learned today that Brian Carle had taken his drone quad-copter to the SR 753 bridge and shot ten minutes of video of the launch site for Paddle on Paint Creekfest. The video is excellent and the scenery magnificent. Thank you so much Brian.
